As Promised

A review for the rising star of Newgrounds Classical.

A beautiful, uplifting and fun army march that's made it's way, ever so deservingly into the flashes of many of artists.

Your work is so well thought out and clearly devised of a great mind.

Me and you are going to do a lil collab someday.

If you permit.

Cheers and I believe I've given all your work it's appropriate 5.

Woah... Doozy

Now that is some impressive music there... If you actually scroll up from the bottom of ur page to the top. You see the score increases.

Along with your talent.

Your top notch in my books friend... And hey... I've come outta my hole just long enough to say so.

Sincerely,
MMD

MusicalRocky responds:

Hey, man. I never noticed this review. I'm sorry :(

Thanks so much for taking the time. I'm glad you found this impressive haha. Yeah, that's true about the increasing scores of my songs...I think the big turning point for me was my Waltz no. 4. I'm honored to be top notch in your opinion. I hope you stay out of your hole :(

Again, thanks for reviewing my modest work.

Rocky

Your an Angel

As my good friend MaestroRage pointed out. The voice is quite amazing... I don't think he realizes that it's actually you though hehe.

Truly Angelic... I would love for you to work on something much longer... so that I can sit and listen for hours on end.

I would even love for you to sing in a song of mine one day. Lord knows I could use an angel.

Sincerely,
MMD

heather-lanham responds:

0.0 many thanks! My current project is a longer all vocal song. ^_^

Ahh... Music.

Welcome to the classical section.

A brilliant piece, filled with anticipation and beauty.

I love the piano... of course... I live for the piano. The beggining is very pretty.

I don't fancy the abrupt ending. But I won't complain.

5/5 For you.

Sincerely,
MMD

cornandbeans responds:

Why thank you! I'm usually don't have very good endings to my songs, I can agree with you on that. :P I'm glad you liked it, I hope you get a chance to listen to some more!

By The Hand of The Maestro

Another one bites the dust...

A brilliant piece to end upon my friend. It would seem we are more alike than many know :). Wherever you go... I know success will follow and I will always be right behind you in any decision you make.

Your song is lifting... epic... but not without the feeling of cold that surrounds it like... winter.

And NG shall be cold without you. At least to me. But I know that though you shall abandon the ever loved name of MaestroSorrow, your music shall forever remain as a testimony to the musician that was... and is to become.

May your summer bring much success...

I look forward to meeting you someday.

MaestroSorrow responds:

Oh the epic winters that will no doubt blow over my home will in a sense scar me. Don't worry though, i've left it for a hope of reaching a place I know I will enjoy being in. Hopefully I can destroy the competition with a fellow composer. Who knows eh ;).

Thanks for the review Dan, all the best wishes from me.

First!

Thankyou Maestro,

This piece is absolutley breathtaking. So full of action... and beautifully written. I like the shaky strings.

You have been the greatest of friends to me. We have alot to continue with.

Thankyou this for this tribute. You've shown how much you truly care and I hope we shall stay friends for as long as possible.

I'll see you in Ontario sometime during my training I'm sure.

This piece... is too epic to be a tribute to me :).

MaestroSorrow responds:

please, there is no such thing as "too" epic for you.

I truly hope we can meet when you're doing your training, t'would be awesome. You could sneak me in a stealth plane, and then you can break the speed of sound, and hurl me out, and you wouldn't hear me screaming bec...

well enough with that ;).

Thanks for the review Dan, take care of yourself eh.

Hello my friend,

haha... this is... well... sir. Send this into a computer gaming company. See what they say. This would make a a perfect video game introduction.

It's just so proffesional.

I'm in awe...

Can you tell?... I just keep hitting enter and writing more....

bah...

Well Mr.Maestro. It looks like you'll be taking your place in the sun from now on, right where you belong.

I on the other hand, have recently completed my last piece. My Finale. Unfortunitley I'll no longer be writing at newgrounds. I want to thank you. For all the support you've given me. The reviews... even emailing me in regards to a question I had. Your degree of proffesionalism stems beyond your music and I'm grateful. Make me proud mate.

MMD

DavidOrr responds:

Well, I'm flattered to say the least! This isn't going into any professional video game, everything I put onto newgrounds is for newgrounds and, and will never be used in commercial stuff (with the exception of a few previews and what not).

Why are you leaving? Newgrounds is gonna miss you! Well, for whatever the reason, you've got my email. If you need anything, don't hesistate to send me some mail.

Oh my

You took the time to pull my piece outta the audio advertisements and look it up... even leave a review. No good deed goes unrewarded. This isn't what I was expecting... it's 1000x better. This might better belong in the Ambience section. But it's so moving and perfect for a flash or something of that sort. Just gives you a creepy and explorative feeling. I very well accept ur challenge in working with you. I await.

MMD

Nicstiracly responds:

You know... you are the first one that talks this positive about my work! And yes I feels so damn good. And I only wrote you a review because I inmediatly felt in love with 'Winning The War' I love the feeling it gave me. Can't wait to create a song with you.

La De Da

Ooo now there's a sexy waltz if I ever heard one. Again... I truly wish you had better sounding instruments at your disposal... seeing as you already have the talent down pat. Again, I will not penilize you... since this is perfectly usable in any flash, and indeed... on my Ipod it shall go. Great song to ponder to. Your advancing nicely... keep them coming. Perhaps, hmmm... buy a nice keyboard if u can. I promise u'll like it ;).

MMD

Hmmm

Hey... just a quick review here. Excellent work... brilliant and professional.... that iissss... assuming this is you.

Do you have any credentials... could you tell me the programs and such you used to create this... seeing as ur a fairly new artist here... I naturally question such work, since such professionality is seen on the portal unless in regards to winterwind, edgen and a few others. Do not doubt that if any of this work is indeed stolen... someone will find it... they usually do. Don't get me wrong... if this is yours... I'm so incredibly impressed I will humbly bow down to you.

With that assumption in mind... I hope to see more work from you.

ddavis responds:

The score itself was written in the "Finale" program - it was later performed by an orchestra, explaining why it sounds so realistic.

I attended UCLA where I majored in composition, and was tutored further by Henri Lazarof. People such as Sam T, who are of a very high intelligence caliber and can see through a BS filter, find my work to be original. Um... I think that's it.

This work is being spewed out nearly daily because not all of it is brand new, some of it made pre-Newgrounds.

The touch of my fingers to the ivory. Now that's worth fighting for.
