Bridge To Insanity

"Oh my"

submission: Bridge To Insanity
date: May 15, 2006

You took the time to pull my piece outta the audio advertisements and look it up... even leave a review. No good deed goes unrewarded. This isn't what I was expecting... it's 1000x better. This might better belong in the Ambience section. But it's so moving and perfect for a flash or something of that sort. Just gives you a creepy and explorative feeling. I very well accept ur challenge in working with you. I await.

Author's Response:

You know... you are the first one that talks this positive about my work! And yes I feels so damn good. And I only wrote you a review because I inmediatly felt in love with 'Winning The War' I love the feeling it gave me. Can't wait to create a song with you.

Sunrise Waltz

"La De Da"

submission: Sunrise Waltz
date: May 15, 2006

Ooo now there's a sexy waltz if I ever heard one. Again... I truly wish you had better sounding instruments at your disposal... seeing as you already have the talent down pat. Again, I will not penilize you... since this is perfectly usable in any flash, and indeed... on my Ipod it shall go. Great song to ponder to. Your advancing nicely... keep them coming. Perhaps, hmmm... buy a nice keyboard if u can. I promise u'll like it ;).

Fantasie for Cello and Piano

"Congradulations"

date: May 11, 2006

I wish to inform you that due to your massive talent and success at creating music. In my eyes... you have now reached the ranks of Winterwind, Edgen, Maestrosorrow and well... much as I hate to say it... u kinda kick my butt alil. I will now constantly refere to you in reviews and in writing my own music. Great work. This piece... bah... cant tell you how much I love the Violin or Cello with the piano... may we collab somday?

March 27, 2008

Author's Response:

I would love to do a collab! I'm kinda busy now through June 5th, but June 5th to 15th I'm all set to compose 24/7 (I could work before then too, just not nearly as quickly).

Crap, now I owe you like five thousand reviews... I'll write 'em eventually, I swear!

Armagodden

"Hmmm"

submission: Armagodden
date: May 11, 2006

Hey... just a quick review here. Excellent work... brilliant and professional.... that iissss... assuming this is you.

Do you have any credentials... could you tell me the programs and such you used to create this... seeing as ur a fairly new artist here... I naturally question such work, since such professionality is seen on the portal unless in regards to winterwind, edgen and a few others. Do not doubt that if any of this work is indeed stolen... someone will find it... they usually do. Don't get me wrong... if this is yours... I'm so incredibly impressed I will humbly bow down to you.

With that assumption in mind... I hope to see more work from you.

Author's Response:

The score itself was written in the "Finale" program - it was later performed by an orchestra, explaining why it sounds so realistic.

I attended UCLA where I majored in composition, and was tutored further by Henri Lazarof. People such as Sam T, who are of a very high intelligence caliber and can see through a BS filter, find my work to be original. Um... I think that's it.

This work is being spewed out nearly daily because not all of it is brand new, some of it made pre-Newgrounds.

"Woah"

date: May 1, 2006

Wasn't expecting this. haha How pleasantly surprised I am. This is excellent work. Perfect use of all your instruments, very proffesional and well written. I just love this. Gotta study for math so I don't have much time, but I'll listen to it while I study. Great job 5/5.

Author's Response:

Make sure you thank SineQuaNon too. I only wrote the themes lol. He arranged the whole thing. I'm glad you like it. If you want to know the songs involved in this arrangement, see my response to the review below. Glad you like it.

Au Centre du Ville

"Goodness..."

submission: Au Centre du Ville
date: April 25, 2006

You've captured the 18th Century classical touch. An art I have no quite seen in the classical section before, yet it fits the genre much better than any other piece I've ever created or heard from others. There sounds like theres a tambourine in there at one point... reduce the volume on that a lil. I can't really critisize a piece of art I am not familiar with composing, therefor... I tip my hat to you. Perfect. Another MMD 5/5 Approved to you sir.

Author's Response:

Well, there's my percussion capability for you; completely inept!

Writing in a quasi late-Baroque style (with, of course, many romantic and classical influences) was very entertaining, and rather educational insofar as I could familiarize myself with the style.

As per your last two wonderful reviews, thanks a whole lot for the kind words.

"YOU!"

After hearing Ghosts and Gremlins... curiousity got the better of me. So I'm back... and much to my surprise, your caliber withstands throughout this piece as well. My god man, I'm so impressed right now I daresay I will listen to many more. Your right up there with Edgen, Winterwind and MaestroSorrow. Very talented work. I look forward to the rest of your pieces.

The background strings that played 16th notes (I think) added a beautiful touch. The Constant ringing of the bell gave it an ancient touch. It builds into a beautiful and abrupt ending. Applause my good sir. You will soon own many top spots on the charts. Hopefully my MMD Approved 5/5 will help :).

Good luck with futures works.

Author's Response:

I wasn't expecting much more than some feedback on Ghosts and Gremlins, so thank you very much for the time spent writing these wonderful reviews!

Oh, and those were triplet eighths. ;)

To be honest, I don't view myself as up to par with all of you classical Gods; I feel as though I haven't branched out yet enough to get a sense of different dimensions of the vast expanse that is the orchestra. But all in good time, of course.

"well it's powerful alright :P"

submission: Rain's Key

Yet the ending and parts of it sound muffled and difficult to decipher. Lower the volume a touch and equilize it if u can. Not sure this is incredibly classical either... but hey... it's close enough. Well done. 4/5... mostly because it's short and the sound quality is a bit off :). Thanks for this mate :).

Author's Response:

Thank's alot for the review (you're my first). Yeah I agree, this isn't exactly classical... I have trouble fitting ANY of music under a specific genre.

Also, I'm not sure why this turned out lower quality than my other songs... Oh well.

This piece is very moving and uplifting. Truly a great work of art. I wish the piano sounded a bit better though, but I don't dare penilize you for it... since this is a great piece. Carry on the great works, I look forward to seeing your advancement in the NG Audio portal :).

This is excellent music for any game, movie or... well anything. It's atmosphere is perfect for something sneaky and magical. Great Great Great work here... thats a MMD Certified 5/5. Not that it matters that much... ur work is very high grade. Thanks for sharing.

Uhmm... dun usually ask for this... but my newest piece "The Final Movement"... hit a zero within a couple minutes of submission... I'd appreciate it if u gave it a score and review of fair value. Much appriciated :).

Aw, sweet, a review from the Milkman himself!

Thanks a load for the review and support. I see that your song has recovered a bit, but I still owe it to you, so I'll get cracking on that. ;)
