Run, man, run

"Mmm... Tasty"

submission: Run, man, run
date: May 9, 2005

First things first... I love the change in tempo... quite effective. Great melody... great work. Throughout the piece it sounds like all the instruments tend to mesh together in a scratchy blurry sorta way. See what u can do to clarify it. Other than that... Congrats on a great piece.

Author's Response:

Thank you for the review.
The main reason it sounds scratchy is because there is too many instruments playing at once and it is too loud. i should have fixed it earlier, but i guess its too late. the barely noticable wind in the background kind of distorts the overall sound. i didn't notice it at first but now i do.

i used my own drum samples (if anyone noticed they change on tempo changes to a different set) to create 21 different drum patterns with 4 for each tempo change and a transition in between. if you have anymore questions just ask in your review and id be happy to respond.
thank you.

Quick Rag (Short)

"Well now"

submission: Quick Rag (Short)
date: May 9, 2005

Being an avid fan of all that is piano, I felt compelled to at least review this. The sound qualitie could be better, but hey... I doubt u were using a keyboard and I know how hard it is to get good sound from a real piano into a computer. Fair Enough. As well... in all fairness u did say it was short... and u weren't lieing. But try to expand on such things... as I should like to hear it all. Kudos to you.

"Sexy"

date: May 9, 2005

This is a sexy beat, with many notable variaties to it. Very pleasant to the ears... and gives me the urge to dance. Good Bass line. Up to par with your other work. Keep it up.

Author's Response:

Thats likely one of the best reviews I've ever got heh. Sexy eh? heh

The pattern for this one is a lot more random than most of my work... if you were to see the patterns for most of my songs they look so neat and orderly... this one is all over the place with no set in order.

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for listening and thanks for the review as well. I'm gonna check out your beats now in a min :D

This song was created by crazy switch. I'm doubting very much you are Crazy Switch... taking credit for their music sucks. Again only submit original work. Time to blow the whistle.

Pace yourself

"hmmmm"

submission: Pace yourself

Submissions to Audio Portal are suppose to be original work by you. This is a legal agreement made between you and Newgrounds the moment you submit a piece. Well... I'm afraid you and I both know that a Dance Dance Revolution Song is not your own work. And as such should not be on Newgrounds. Wake up man.

Author's Response:

I wasnt trying to hide it or anything...I'm kinda being dumb and putting songs that I like on here instead of making my own..Ill stop that now...Sorry bout that..

I'm not sure... but... man... that was... well... I didn't finish it. But... I will say this... a proffesional microphone and a little less yelling into it... well... u'd be set my friend. Deffinitely a noticable effort on your part.

"The Title Fits the Piece... it's Crystal alright"

date: April 29, 2005

A very clever and submersive use of loops. I actually listened to it twice. I could see this being used in a submission or two. At some points a need for change in pitch or chord is needed, as you hold onto one set of loops too long. But other that... this is brilliant and I can tell some thought went into it. Kudos to you.
